Department of Bachelors of Computer Application (BCA)

Bachelor in Computer Application programme at Rattan College of management & Technology is approved by Govt. of Punjab and the college is affiliated to Punjabi University Patiala. Internet facility is made available to students laptops via WIFI throughout the campus also which helps students to be connected to various technologies.
It also provides the hands on practical training of software development. The department aims to develop and train the students to develop their soft skills and enhance their knowledge in Information and Technology. The faculties here are very well qualified and experienced who are specialists in various domains like operating system, Java, C++, HTML, data structure, data mining, artificial intelligence, networks and web services.
The college has excellent computer labs with fully air conditioned, spacious and 300 systems. The systems have the hi-tech configuration of hardware and software in which different software have been installed. Labs help students to brush up their practical knowledge of computer skills.This degree programme helps students to deal with the fast developing IT/Software industry. A BCA graduate can work for any IT company as a software engineer, software developer, system analyst, programmer, etc. The duration of the course is three years which consist of six semesters. This department aims to provide high quality education to students with the latest emerging computer technology.
Now a day’s even dairy and banking firms are hiring more of the BCA students for their software based queries. BCA is the best course for starting your career. The department has a good record as most of the students get placed in good IT companies.

Eligibility:-

* Passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam in any stream from a recognised Board/ University.
